Tonight on F-EMME we're discussing female nudity, including how we feel being naked ourselves, empowerment through nudity, the "male gaze" vs. the "female gaze", and what happens to women when they want to be naked in public. We also talk about the hypocrisy of social media; some images of naked/partially naked women removed from social media sites, like Facebook or Instagram, while others are not. Specifically, the image of Venus of Willendorf, a stone figure created about 22,000 years ago, has been banned from Instagram, so why can Kim Kardashian post nude photos?

You can catch a new episode of F-EMME every other Tuesday at 9pm, or listen to past episodes on Mixcloud, https://www.mixcloud.com/K103/f-emme-180313-nudity/.

F-EMME is a space for us to discuss feminist issues and initiatives, often drawing from our own experiences and opinions as young women.
