A break through Canadian musician from Calgary has been taking over the radio with the hit song Jackpot and she has even had a song on a target commercial. This year she has become a full time musician filling the radio with her RnB, soul and pop songs. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is a Australian-Swedish duo that are touring Canada, USA and Europe. In Toronto, Ontario they made a stop for a show and Kelly was able to interview them. The new album One was released at the start of the month and it is knocking our socks off. Kate Boy has been a favourite for a while and it just made sense to spotlight them this week. WHY WE'RE GIVING THEM THE SPOTLIGHT...

Chelsea, the radio host of Keep the Car running, is in the field on the West Coast of Canada and has sought local talent. This band is one of a series of mostly local bands on Keep the Car Running.

After searching around the local area of Vancouver Island, Windigo came up and listening to their first song "It goes on (In my mind), the decision was made. This is a very indie psych pop Canadian band from Calgary, Alberta which prides themselves on their sunkissed summer vibes and for the meantime, make us think about all those wonderful summer memories.

The band consists of three dudes and a dudette, all on a music tour of Canada. 06/11/2015 is the date of the interview and the concert. Stay tuned for the next episode of Keep the Car Running on Monday(09/11/2015).

Lady Lamb, formally known as Lady Lamb and the Beekeeper, has been giving us her love sick lyrics with a indie rock guitar sound. The American singer-songwriter has been persistent with her music since 2007 and has many self-released albums up until 2013 when she released Ripely Pine with Ba Da Bing Records.

The young guy, Raury, from Atlanta in USA is a recent shining light on the music scene and his music mixes a lot of genres. He has released the one album and can be downloaded for free after playing a game up to 1500 points on the website indigochildproject.com.
