The swedish winter is coming. Many of us will finally see how it feels like to experience it. In the third episode of this new season Erne and Freyan interview Nills, the guy from GU who sent us all the mail with tips about swedish winter (how many layers of clothes should we wear? How much chocolate should we eat?). The Finnish exchange student Tommy will chat a bit about the differences between Finland and Sweden, the way they get ready to the winter and the ”sauna culture”. Lastly, Matteo will tell us the stories of Rene Descartes and Michelle Foucault. The former was forced by the Queen Kristina of Sweden to wake up in the early morning to lecture her in philosophy and eventually died of pleunoma.
The latter wrote the first draft of Madness and Civilisation in Sweden but it was rejected by Uppsala University and he came back to France disappointed by the rejection as well as by the ”swedish gloom”.
This and so much more in the new episode.
