Inspired by Bolan, Baudelaire and the line "a broken heel like a heart, I'll never walk again" was inspired by a story I heard about Marilyn Monroe breaking the heel of her shoe to give herself a sexy walk?!

It was a unanimous decision that a toffee coloured poodle was the most suitable breed of dog to play me in the video.
Track 3: Strict Machine
Inspired by an article about electrodes used on rats to make them feel elation & euphoria while performing tasks.
Track 4: Lovely Head
1st song Will & I wrote together.....
The lyrics and music were inspired by a mutual love of film scores, lost love & Andy Warhol's 'Flesh for Frankenstein'.
Track 5: Utopia
A story about an android born as a result of designer breeding in a utopian society, feeling love for mortals is confusing for her
Track 6: A&E
Strange times...I had a few words, a little tune, arrived at the studio, Will & I jammed it for a bit, the song was completed by the end of the day.
Track 7: Happiness
When we performed this at the R.F.H each member of the audience played along with us on a kazoo we'd left under their seat, a wonderful din and an unforgettable night! Thank you! Xx
Track 8: Train
Inspired by various encounters we had in Hollywood & a bizarre pool party Will & I attended on our first jaunt to LA. I wish there had been more mud wrestling in the video...think 'Train' might be my favourite video actually, it makes laugh! and the dancers, they are such lovely girls...
Track 9: Ride A White Horse
The 1st horse tail I created and wore was made from glue, wig hair and a strap-on dildo.

Track 11: Believer
After 'Shiny & Warm' this has been my favourite song to perform live from the 'Headfirst' album, the band always really liked playing the song 'headfirst' especially Angie.
Track 12: Black Cherry:
Love Wills string arrangements! there was a period when every time I performed this song halfway through I would start crying.
Melancholy Sky:
My favourite moment in this song is Will playing the saxophone. the working title for this song was 'crank call', as that is what inspired the lyric.
Yellow Halo:
My Ma died on the day of our gig in Mexico 2 summers ago. When I thought of her I saw a bright yellow light. I would like to dedicate this song today to my Mum & Wills Mum x
