World College Radio Day

K103 explores music and solidarity in this years WCRD Marathon!

World College Radio Day is back on K103 Gothenburg Student Radio for the legendary 24hr marathon.

This year, more challenging than ever, has the theme Global Solidarity Rocks. Therefore your host Eden Maclachlan will discuss solidarity and music, since the latter is never far away from it. We start our journey at K103, talking with our members Marie Heimburg, Sachin Subramanian and Victor Johansson about their overview on solidarity as a student. Then, we go away to Uppsala to discuss solidarity among Swedish student radios with Alex Maxia from Studentradion 98,9 and the national organization SRS - Student Radio Sweden. We finish in style with an insight on solidarity from Cathleen O'Keefe and Pauline Dütsch, students involved with Amnesty International. Be supportive and tune in for the 10th anniversary of World College Radio day at 12.00-13.00!

World College Radio Day 2020 is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2!

On October 2, the legendary 24-hr Global Marathon will also take place. Here you will hear a mix of select college radio from all over the world. It’s going to be fun!
